CAMPUS SUMMARY

At Utah's newest community college, numerous changes have occurred over the last 65 years. Since 1937 we have grown from Carbon College, with an enrollment of 146, to College of Eastern Utah, with a head count enrollment of 3000 students. Here we strive to help instill the curiosity and skills necessary for a student to continue learning throughout life. Our campus is located in Southeastern Utah in close proximity to the Wasatch Mountains, Lake Powell, the San Rafael Swell, Canyonlands National Park, Arches National Monument, Monument Valley, Cleveland/Lloyd Dinosaur Quarry and the Navajo Indian Reservation. Our classrooms implement these natural wonders in their academic curriculum.

The college provides a complete campus experience for both traditional and non-traditional students. We seek to be involved in and responsive to our community. The College affirms a special role in representing the human diversity of our region, state, and country.
